Chris Craft Wooden Boat Plans;
One of the main boats that many boat enthusasts have been restoring, rebuilding and re-creating for the last century has been our favorite, the Chris Craft. Just the word 'Chris Craft' brings back a flood of memories and such a warm feeling from when me , gramps and dad used

Chris Craft Wooden Boat Plans

Now- from m growing up in northern Michigan, it was ALL ABOUT THE WATER AND BUILDING BOATS.

Chris Craft Wooden Boat Plans

We would originally start out restoring old chris craft boats- it did take some time. I mean, getting the boats restored by summer or spring was always soemthing we made our goal of our.

But for so long it was always about using the same old christ craft boats and plans over and 0ver- plans that we were stuck using - and for once, I just wanted to build Chris Craft boats that I FELT PROUD OF. I WANTED TO DESIGN THE CHRIST CRAFT BOATS.

So I finally gave in and grabbed a complete set of boat plans and boat building kit.its the 'Plans4Boats' boat building plans and building kit- and it comes weith erverything you need AND WANT to build a better boat.
FREE BONUSES AND FEATURES For Building Chris Craft BoatsMy goal is to help you select a boat that performs best on the water that you fish the most often. To do this I've created the following links that try to

Chris Craft Wooden Boat Plans

explain in a simple way the advantages and disadvantages of important hull characteristics.

Characteristics

Length: the measure of the boat fore and aft

Width: the measure of the boat side to side

Rocker: the amount the ends of the boat lift up

Flair:the angle of the sides of the boat

Bottom shape: the top down view of the shape of the bottom

The performance of the boat hull will obviously depend on the combination of all of these attributes working together. This is where selecting and building

your boat can become fun. You can mentally experiment with a characteristic to create a boat that will do some things extremely well and be able to

guess at what performance your are giving up for you gain. It is wonderful that there is no such thing as a perfect boat. There is always another

experiment to try.

Here are a few obvious rules to keep in mind that don't fit under any of the above individual headings.

* A heavier boat needs more power (in this case more muscle) or it must be more efficient.
* Big boats are for big water and small boats for small water
* The taller and/or lighter a boat the more it is affected by wind.
* The faster the water the more a river boat needs to be efficient when it is in line with the current and when it is sideways to the current.
* It's best to keep the center of gravity as low as possible.

The slightest blemish on a pool table surface can cause all sorts of problems. Nothing is more disheartening to the professional pool player than making a really good shot and watching the trajectory of the ball be altered by a tiny tear or gap in the surface fabric.

Before your friends, neighbors, or patrons begin tearing their hair out, know that you can easily take care of this. Patching the cloth will not work; you are going to have to resurface the entire table! Don't be concerned, this is a fairly simple one man job that's not too expensive.

The felt cloth can be found on line, from a billiards supply store, and even at some fabric stores. The billiard supply stores will have championship quality felt. This cloth is available in a variety of different colors and is usually bought by the square yard. The billiard supply store will know exactly how many square yards you need, so you need to take your measurements. Because of the drop on the sides for the bumpers and the fact you will be stretching the cloth and attaching under the rails, add at least 12 inches on each side of the surface dimensions.

How To Repair A Pool Table

The next step is to remove the old cloth. This should be fairly easy and how it is attached will depend on the table backing. Wood backed tables use staples and slate tables most commonly are glued.

Take off the side rails and lay your new felt completely across the table pulling it tight lengthwise. If you are resurfacing a wood backing begin stapling the felt under the rails in the middle first on one side. Place a staple about every 4 inches. When you reach a corner, stop and go to the next corner. Stretch the felt tight and begin stapling the opposite side. Make sure the surface is smooth.

If you have a slate backed table you will need a good spray adhesive. Spray the adhesive on the table about five inches from the edge of the table. Spray some more adhesive on the underside of the cloth. Wait about a minute for the glue to become tacky and press the felt down. Follow the same procedure as with the staples, doing one side first and then the opposite side.

How To Repair A Pool Table

After you have the sides finished and the table completely covered over, use a razor blade tool to make little holes where the rails bolt down onto the table. This will keep the bolts from making tears that could become worse when you tighten down the rails. Cut from the backside of the felt.

Pull back the pocket lining which is sometimes leather for example, and pull the felt down at the pockets and glue or staple. Then cover with the pocket lining and reattach for a finished job.

As it's really quite difficult to move pool tables around, most repairs are usually made on location. When you resurface your pool table alone, you'll save hundreds of dollars over a professional service.

Slate Repair.

You might find a need to make repairs to slate seams and cracks in your pool table. A great time to do this is while the felt is off when you are recovering the table. Billiard beeswax is a special wax that contains resin and hardens more than normal beeswax. This wax dries very hard and yet has enough flexibility to move with the table. Using a small torch, melt the wax and let it drip into the seam or crack. Use a paint scraper or putty knife to remove any excess wax. For larger cracks a slate patch is necessary.

No Limit Texas Holdem has become one of the most popular types of poker played. No Limit Holdem Poker Tournaments have become especially popular since you can enter a tournament for as little as a up to 00's of dollars depending on your pocket book. Since No Limit Holdem has been televised it has grown in popularity. One of the nuances of this type of pokers new found popularity is the emergence of Sit and Go Poker Tournaments. These tournaments are mini versions of their bigger counterparts. The Entry field is usually limited to one table. Their are also bigger Sit n Go tournaments that consist of 5 or 6 tables or more. One other differentiation of these types of tournaments is that they form when enough players sign up, for example if you have a 10 man Sit and Go it will start as soon as 10 players pay the entry fee.

The Structure of Sit and Go poker games is much like regular tournaments. Blinds go up anywhere from every 6 to 15 minutes and the starting stacks are usually somewhere in between 1500 to 3500 in chips. You will find Sit and Go poker tournaments at most online poker rooms as well as some brick and mortar casino poker rooms. Usually the top 3 players are paid out in a 10 man sit and go. Depending on the Sit and Go structure the payout varies. It is best to look at the tournament lobby and find out what the set up is.

Below are some tips for playing Sit n Go Poker Tournaments:

Winning Sit And Go No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament Strategy.

First of all try and find a game that has a decent chip stack and slow moving blinds. Generally a decent structure looks like 1500 in chips and 8 minute blinds. the more minutes and the more chips the more the game will favor skill versus luck. This is mainly because if you are not in a hurry to play you can play a tight aggressive strategy which is ideal for most tournaments.

I would try a medium buy in of 10 dollars up to twenty dollars to start with depending on what you can afford. If the buy in is really low expect the game to be super wild. I therefore favor games at least 10 and up to start with. Ideally you will win enough to get a bank roll big enough to move up to higher stakes games.

The ideal strategy for these games is to play a tight aggressive game until the blinds get high enough to warrant a change in strategy. Usually if you will fold all your marginal hands in the beginning and be patient by the time you reach the second or third blinds level several players will have been knocked out. So hand selection is important. Early in the tournament play hands like: AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, 1010, and AJ aggressively raise for value and play the hand as you usually would. If you meet much resistance with some of the lower pairs or you don't catch a pair fold and don't invest to much. Limp in with any pocket pair 99 to maybe 55 or 66 and hope to spike a set if you don't get out. If someone raises preflop fold. The main idea here is to not get involved in hands that will break you early on since only the last 3 players remaining get paid you want to let the other guys knock themselves out. Every time someone gets knocked out you get closer to the money. some of these games you will see get crazy early on. Just stay out of the way and let the crazies kill themselves off.

Winning Sit And Go No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament Strategy.

Once you get down to about 5 players and the blinds get high you want to loosen up some of your hand selection and try and run some positional raises. If you have been playing tight then you should have a tight enough table image now to get away with some steals. Don't over do it but raise in late pos with hands like A8 all the way to A3 if no one has entered the pot before you. If you have been playing tight the other players should have picked up on this and give you some respect. When you get down to 4, players will really start to tighten up because they are so close to a money finish. Once you see that happening take advantage and try to make some steal bets. Down get overly involved if you meet too much resistance get out of there unless you have a hand that you can win with. This style of play is usually the reverse of what your weaker opponents will do. Usually they will play a lot of hands early and deplete a certain amount of their chips early on and try to get lucky. Then they will tighten up when the blinds get higher. Since ideally the best way to play is the opposite of what everyone else is doing this poker tournament strategy advocates playing tight early and then loosening up later in the game to try and build a chip stack that will carry you in to the money.

Once you get down to 3 and you have hit the money. You can either get real aggressive and try for first place or sit tight and let the other guys take each other out and go for a sure second. This depends on your stack. If you get to 4 to 5 times the blinds and you are third make a move. If you can steal some blinds or win a showdown you should be guaranteed second. Their is a piece of poker tournament software that I used called sit and go shark which was really a great tool in finding a working strategy for this type of game. It is still available but unfortunately does not work in many poker room's where U.S. players can currently play for money.

I hope this helps to give an idea of how to play no limit holdem sit and go poker tournaments. Their is more to it then can be stuffed in to just one article, however just making these few adjustments should help get you in the money more often in these types of poker tournaments. Its really a general strategy advocated for tournaments by many of today's successful poker pro's.
